True to her reputation, JENK presents a variety of creations, including the Wrapping CANDY Tribute to Picasso and the famous ‘Jenkellised’ CANDY featuring the iconic Paddington bear.
You will also be able to admire JENK’S jewelry and tableware and discover her new collection of silk squares.

Born in Bourges and living in Vallauris, Laurence, self-taught, experimented, in his laboratory in the French Riviera, with techniques such as inclusion and molding which later allowed her to master plexiglass and create her technique of torsion “wrapping”. For nearly 20 years, the artist has been sculpting brightly colored CANDIES in different shapes and sizes in materials such as bronze, plexiglass, aluminum, marble, polyester, wood or even Murano glass. Even though we cannot objectively taste them, those sweets attract us for their shapes, colours, unusual and original conditions of balance, almost as if they were étoiles on tiptoe a moment before hovering in the air.

JENK developed a real obsession for CANDIES since she was a child, because deprivated of them during her childhood. When adult she had the idea, more than 20 years ago, to erect the Candy into symbol of her art work.

From Paris to Hong Kong, via New York, Dubai, London and Miami, Laurence’s CANDY sculptures travel the world. According to the special ArtPrice report, the artist is ranked among the 1,000 best international contemporary artists sold at auction in the last twenty years. Made Knight of the French Order of Arts and Letters since 2019, she is very attached to the Principaute and has also contributed her artworks on several occasions. In addition to the marble sculpture in front of the Monte-Carlo Bay, Laurence JENK has created a 1.90 m work for the Monaco Red Cross, held several exhibitions in Monaco and opened a new Atelier Gallery in 2022 at 29 Bd Rainier III.

It is important to know that it is not only the CANDY at the end, it is the twist in itself that is my favorite subject. And it is this twist that I export today throughout the world. It is also a strong subject, to express a rebellion in relation to  subject of society that touches me deeply: Topics on the environment, on the consumer society, on violence against women.”
