An interstellar intuition by Louis Vuitton

A new project for Louis Vuitton, this time conceived by the wonderful creative director Francesca Amfitheatrof who has created a line of jewellery, taking the cosmos as its starting point. She talks enthusiastically about this stylistic line that reproduces particularly interesting cuts with the monogram recreated on cocktail rings with a flower cut, typical of the Maison.

 

 

There are fascinating pieces including the marvellous “Astre Rouge” Necklace which contains an 8-carat ruby set that took 2000 hours to make. No less interesting is the Celéste Collier with an asymmetrical line that wraps and decorates a woman’s neck with extreme elegance. Amfitheatrof’s phrase: “I like that the jewel can be declined and developed creatively, with new shapes and ways of wearing it”. This line took two years of work to show itself to the public in all its harmony of shapes and colours. It reflects the imagination of the planets, referring as a thought to astronaut women who have had the chance to look at our universe in its special aspects. This collection includes a total of 90 pieces, a new era of jewellery with a designer’s signature that gives versatility to this all-female universe in the choice of enveloping but also precise shapes. Among the pieces is the Chocker Lune Bleue, which required 900 hours of work. The jewellery belongs to the Maison in a connection between high fashion and the influence of luxury that is rooted in the lifestyle of those who never want to go unnoticed. It is an interest that attracts a narrow band of consumers who do not renounce the purity of the jewel designed in the smallest detail with impeccable craftsmanship.

 

 

The spirit of Louis Vuitton is to always explore new themes in the search for the sense of aesthetic perfection that dresses the person in its completeness by adding and never removing something. It evokes the effect of feeling extraordinary when wearing an important jewel-like the Cocktail ring with garnet, thick limbs, oval cut with added diamonds, in platinum and yellow gold of a majesty that takes nothing away from elegance, even in its imposing appearance, but that enhances the movement of the woman’s hand making it all of the incredible charm.

 

 

 

The collection plays on a cosmic luminosity, made of diamonds and extensive use of baguettes stacked around a central sapphire, which give brightness but at the same time are captivating and steal the eye.
