The presentation of Matteo Salvini’s new book in Milan

 

The presentation of Matteo Salvini’s new book, titled “Controvento. L’Italia che non si arrende” took place at a major event in the prestigious halls of the Principe di Savoia hotel in Milan.

Matteo Salvini is the Vice President of the Council of Minister of Italy and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.

 

 

This volume serves as a candid confession from the author, offering a stream of personal reflections, memories and snippets of life, presenting itself as both a self-portrait and a political manifesto and above all, as a vibrant anthem to freedom and the joy of living through politics.

 

 

The evening was expertly organized by Daniela Javarone, president of the Milanese Association Friends of the Opera and a prominent figure in Milan’s cultural salons. The event attracted a significant turnout, with hundreds of members of the upper bourgeoisie, nobility and personalities from politics and business sectors in attendance. All enthusiastically responded to Daniela Javarone’s invitation, who stood out during the evening in an elegant ensemble by Angela Haute Couture, affirming her role as an impeccable hostess.

 

 

The book presentation was preceded by an exclusive cocktail dinatoire, setting the perfect mood with a flourish of sparkling wines and was attended by numerous distinguished guests including Alessandro Morelli, Stefano Bolognini, Gabriele Albertini, Melania Rizzoli, General Alfonso Miro, Andrea Monzino, head of the Antonio Carlo Monzino Foundation, couturière Angela Formaggia, Pinuccia Cottone, and many colleagues from the press including Ivan Rota.

Pietro Senaldi, co-editor of the newspaper Libero, introduced Salvini’s book.

It was an occasion for meeting and dialogue that provided attendees with the opportunity to delve into the themes discussed in the book, celebrating together the values of freedom and happiness in politics.

The soirée was brightened by the performance of violinist Leonardo Moretti.

This was a memorable event that will undoubtedly remain etched in the memories of those present for its elegance and the significance of the themes addressed.
