In 1955, Erika De Wan embarked on a remarkable journey by establishing her inaugural boutique in Turin, Italy. The venture proved to be an overwhelming success, pioneering the introduction of sustainable luxury to the Italian market. Erika’s vision brought the concept of eco-conscious opulence to the forefront, enabling numerous individuals to indulge in a newfound sense of sustainable elegance.
Building upon Erika’s legacy, her son Enrico and his wife Rosalba further expanded the enterprise, extending their reach to international clientele. Their commitment to quality and sustainability resonated globally, propelling their brand to new heights.
Finally, in 1988, Erika’s grandchildren, Elisabetta and Roberto De Wan, took a monumental step by opening a prestigious establishment on Milan’s renowned 44 Manzoni Street. This marked a significant milestone in the family’s legacy, solidifying their position as torchbearers of sustainable luxury in the heart of Milan.
Roberto De Wan
Roberto De Wan is a fashion designer and a well-known painter. This year he showed his artworks at eight different exhibitions. His works are refined and colorful and express the intimate and spiritual life of the author.
On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, De Wan unveils its latest crystal, pearl, and gold-plated plexi bijoux, genuine Italian leather belts and bags, attractively priced knitwear pieces and a limited-edition scarf capsule collection inspired by the paintings currently exhibited by Roberto De Wan on the Mecenate online platform and at the Moonlight Art Gallery in Bahrain. To this distant and magical land, the fashion designer and painter dedicates his creations, brimming with light and vibrant colors.
In collaboration with the artist Pop Svetlana Nikolina, a cocktail event at the De Wan atelier located at Via Manzoni 44 in Milan will inaugurate the brand’s new collection on Tuesday, September 19th.
