Being Mother and Entrepreneur, the Woman’s Challenge

To become a successful entrepreneur is to face important challenges and solve problems constructively by learning from each experience. Women are naturally predisposed to face the trials of life daily and this makes them extremely competitive in the world of work.

In the business world, being a woman is often not an advantage. A woman, in addition to her work commitments, will in most cases have to take on all those tasks that affect the family and consequently, when success is achieved, the satisfaction we derive from it is enormous.

Today I want to talk to you about Lidia Tudisco, an entrepreneur with clear Italian origins, who has lived in the Principality for several years. I chose to interview her, not only because she is a woman who has an important job in Monaco, but because in my opinion she perfectly represents the right combination between a loving mother and a strong and determined manager who manages to make her dreams come true.

An independent and enterprising woman, she started her working career managing with great success an important Concept Bar in one of the most dynamic areas of Monaco, the One Apple, twin of the eponymous restaurant in Turin. This experience in contact with the public has helped to strengthen her entrepreneurial skills and consolidate her network of contacts, giving her the impetus for the future.

A present and affectionate mother, she always finds the time to devote to her adorable son Flavio without this preventing her from becoming a woman entrepreneur. Constantly working on her dream, thanks to her friendship with financier Riccardo Grande Stevens in 2015 she launched the prestigious Monegasque brand of shoes made in Italy Steve’s.

In honour of the name of its co-founder, Steve’s mainly produces luxury velvet shoes which are distributed exclusively at clothing and accessories boutiques in France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain. Initially conceived as men’s footwear, given its success, the range of prestigious footwear produced in the Marche region has expanded its choice with comfortable trainers and the refined Victoria model.

Lidia’s next challenge? Surely it will be a challenge that will fully involve her as it has always happened and where she, thanks to the strength and courage that distinguishes us, women, will achieve maximum results.
