MaMa Design, the new frontier of creativity
In 2005 Matteo Antonelli and Andrea Miscoli founded MAMA DESIGN Studio. Their partnership started many years earlier, during the school days. From the first time together, Matteo Antonelli and Andrea Miscoli have built what MaMa design represents today: solidity and love for all that is Details.

From yacht design to light, from large-scale architecture to interior design, MaMa is a multidisciplinary studio that, in these 15 years of activity, has opened its doors to the international and luxury panorama.

The experiences gained over the years, in the different fields of international design and architecture, led MaMa design to be today one of the companies on the Italian scene, recognized also in the international scenario. Authors of permanent and temporary architectural projects such as “Casa Italia” during the Winter Olympic Game in Vancouver 2010 and in London 2012, and for important automotive brands such as Jaguar, they are now present in China, Russia, Europe and obviously in Italy.

Designing luxury has its rules: the excellence of quality and use of refined raw materials, but also exclusivity, uniqueness and memorability. These are the ingredients that Matteo Antonelli and Andrea Miscoli offer with the projects they realize for their customers, finding in each of them the key to make the result unique and unrepeatable.

Luxury must shine with its own light. Luxury comes from Lux (light). Shining does not mean “being seen” but creating uniqueness, and this ability for MaMa lies in the emotion able to create an object, space, an atmosphere. For this reason, MaMa thinks that luxury without a unique and memorable emotional feature cannot exist.

Luxury thus meant as Lux has given the light an indissoluble role in each of Matteo and Andrea’s projects. Light as an instrument able to turn on and off an emotion, a space, a work of art, in the continuous search of balance among them.

“Research at the basis of every exclusive creative act” is the other fundamental ingredient in our methodology. And research lies not only in the study of innovative stylistic solutions but also in the search of that Craftsmanship historically recognized as Made in Italy, as a qualifying element of the concept of Luxury. ”

Space as a treasure to be discovered. This is the idea that materializes in the mind of anyone who passes through the entrance of MAMA atelier. Located in the wonderful seventeenth-century setting of Villa Aldobrandini, the studio is a space in which elements such as natural light, greenery and history give life to a mutable and extremely creative workplace.
