YES WOMEN MONACO GALA DINNER

1 December 2025 – La Môme Monte-Carlo

In the refined landscape of the Principality, where glamour, culture and social engagement converge with natural ease, a new event is poised to define the spirit of the year ahead. On 1 December 2025, the sophisticated setting of La Môme Monte-Carlo will host the first Yes Women Monaco Gala Dinner, an evening celebrating women’s energy, vision and solidarity.

The event is organized by Nicole Dionne, founder of the Gervais & Nicole Dionne Foundation, and Sophie Girone, founder of the Monaco-based PR and communication agency Le Boudoir d’Highlights. Together, they are the co-founders of Yes Women Monaco, a movement that transforms a shared intuition into a powerful platform for social change.

Elevating the evening even further is the presence of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, whose unwavering commitment to the fight against AIDS through Fight Aids Monaco spans more than two decades.

To capture and narrate this exclusive moment with its signature refinement is Monaco Woman, the event’s official media partner.

At the heart of Yes Women Monaco lies a single, resonant word: Yes. A declaration of resilience, determination and countless quiet triumphs. It is an affirmation shaped by journeys of research, awareness and empowerment, and it reflects the courage of all women who choose to take action in support of meaningful causes. Yet “Yes” is also a message of hope to those facing challenges they cannot always articulate — a reminder that they are not alone. And within the name “Women” lies an inclusive vision that brings together women and men in complementarity, united in their contribution to collective progress.

Central to the movement is the profound notion of sisterhood, understood not as an exclusive circle but as a natural form of solidarity. It is expressed in the support shared between mothers, the understanding exchanged between colleagues, the comfort offered by friends, and the instinctive empathy that women recognize in one another. Many charitable initiatives are born from this quiet force, often guided by women whose dedication remains largely unseen. Yes Women Monaco exists precisely to illuminate their work, amplify their voices and provide them with the visibility they deserve.

The project unfolds with refined coherence. The gala evening will honour two women who have founded humanitarian associations one from Monaco and one from abroad whose dedication has made a tangible difference. Throughout the year, a dedicated communication campaign will share their stories, challenges and accomplishments through press and social media. Complementing all of this is an innovative fundraising initiative: One Woman: One Euro, a symbolic gesture designed to grow through the power of collective participation and digital sisterhood.

Christien Roos founder of Penduka

For its inaugural edition, Yes Women Monaco dedicates its voice to the fight against AIDS, a cause that remains particularly urgent for girls and women. Two extraordinary figures will be honoured: H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, founder of Fight Aids Monaco, and Christien Roos, founder of Penduka in Namibia, an organisation that empowers vulnerable women through entrepreneurship. Though from different worlds, they share a common mission: restoring autonomy and dignity to those most at risk.

The genesis of Yes Women Monaco lies in the meeting between Nicole Dionne, whose personal experience beside Dr. Gervais Dionne  co-discoverer of AIDS triple therapy  inspired her vision, and Sophie Girone, who embraced the challenge of transforming that vision into a movement with her expertise in communication. Together, they laid the foundations of a project that places women and their impact at the centre.

The Gala on 1 December 2025, coinciding with World AIDS Day, will officially launch the digital campaign #YesWomenMonaco and the fundraising initiative One Woman: One Euro. It will usher in a year of elegant, spontaneous solidarity, shaped by positive messages and concrete actions  a year in which the Principality chooses to say “yes” to strength, hope and the transformative power of women.
