The 12th edition of the Ladies Vintage Car Rally, organized by Child CARE Monaco and chaired by Martine Ackermann, brought together this Sunday, September 7th, car enthusiasts and lovers of elegance under the theme “French Riviera chic & glamour.”

After a convivial breakfast at the Café de Paris, the convoy  composed mostly of women, with a few male drivers left Monaco early in the morning to follow the Mediterranean coastline through Cap d’Ail, Èze, Beaulieu, Nice, and Cagnes-sur-Mer, before reaching Mougins and Grasse for a refined lunch at La Bastide Saint-Antoine with chef Jacques Chibois.

In the afternoon, the participants continued towards Antibes and then Nice, along the famous Promenade des Anglais, before reaching Beaulieu-sur-Mer for an exceptional tea time at Le Circe restaurant, overlooking the sea. The convoy then returned to Monaco for a festive arrival at the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, perfectly matching this year’s French Riviera chic & glamour theme.

Among the highlights of the day, the highly noticed arrival at the Beach Club of top model Victoria Silvstedt, seated in a magnificent Mercedes 380SL driven by President Martine Ackermann, drew widespread admiration.

The day concluded with an awards ceremony and elegant cocktail, celebrating not only conviviality and elegance but also the spirit of solidarity.

The funds raised will allow the purchase and distribution in India of school bags, hygiene kits, blankets, beds, pillowcases, household appliances, and clothing for the children of the Jaipur orphanage, as well as school supplies for Sneh School. This humanitarian mission is scheduled for October/November 2025, with volunteers accompanying the president (including Dr. Stéphanie Guillaume, Stéphanie Perard, Vice President Angélique Esposito, and Pascale Leclerc).

This year’s edition took on an additional dimension. For several months, thanks to video conferences and a remarkable collaboration between Dr. Bertrand Tourret Courdec, orthopedic surgeon in Marseille, Dr. Stéphanie Guillaume, general practitioner in La Seyne-sur-Mer, the local teams in India, and Martine Ackermann, a custom-made prosthesis was created by Dr. Tourret Courdec and symbolically presented at the Rally’s closing ceremony: a powerful gesture, symbolizing the union of elegance, help, and hope.
The prosthesis will then be delivered during the next trip to India.
