“Ristoratori in Cattedra”, the new project made by excellence

A new project at the start of the great cooking Masterclass of the culinary tradition of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero land: series of thirty episodes available from May to December 2021. The restaurant trade sector is ready to start after the difficulties of the pandemic, with a new digital project titled “Ristoratori in Cattedra”. A great cooking masterclass online from the territories of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero”, promoted by Consorzio dell’Asti spumante e del Moscato d’Asti DOCG, in partnership with other relevant partners of the territory.

 

 

This development initiative starts on May 15th and will be visible on the social media channels of the Consorzio dell’Asti e del Moscato d’Asti docg and of the other partners. It has the aim to relaunch, also on the international stage, the talented cuisine of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero – areas rich in history and gastronomic tradition, since 2014 included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

 

 

The web series is made of thirty episodes in the Italian language with subtitles in English, scheduled in weekly publications from May to December (except August).  Every episode, filmed with high-definition camcorders, will present the construction of an iconic dish of the restaurant, enhanced by the aromatic matching with Asti Spumante or Moscato d’Asti Docg.

 

 

The episodes will last three minutes and will give to the public emotional storytelling of the taste of tradition, culture and working ethics: all the elements which are the conditions for the creation of special and symbolic dishes well-known in the world as part of the tradition of Langhe, Monferrato and Roero cuisine.

 

 

The main objective is to provide visibility and support to the restaurateurs of these territories, now ready to re-open again, enlighting the aspects linked to culture, tradition, professionalism and working passion transmitted by generations. Thanks to this web series, it will be easy from home learning to prepare genuine recipes, led by thirty restaurateurs from Langhe, Monferrato and Roero (particularly from the area of production of the fragrant white grapes of Moscato used to produce Docg Asti Spumante e Moscato d’Asti) as excellent Masters.

 

 

Pier Ottavio Daniele is engaged in the direction of the project. From Saturday, May 15th, every Saturday until the end of the year, on the Consorzio dell’Asti doc media channels. Will be a great journey through thirty recipes to discover this amazing food and wine tradition!
