Campari and cinema: a story of alchemy between passion and creativity

This is a book that seeks to tell how Campari’s passion for art and creativity are intimately connected to a need and desire to communicate and innovate.

 

 

A predilection for cinematographic art has always been the driving force behind experimentation and giving life to projects that are different and unexpected every single time: an expressive evolution which, after the experiences of the “Red Diaries”, leads to new production, “Fellini Forward”, a truly unprecedented way of film making.

 

 

The essays published in this volume are not limited to the narration of Campari’s experience, but address it with a wide-ranging look at the history of cinema: thanks to a dense network of references, they show how the work of Campari, and of the directors with which it has collaborated with over the years, fits into a much bigger story.

 

 

“Campari e il cinema” (Campari and cinema) curated by Gianni Canova, published by Skira and available in bookstores from December 2021, is divided into four sections – Cinema Revolution; Campari Revolution; Campari and cinema: a fatal attraction; Cinema in the Age of AI – and brings together the critical contributions of Gianni Canova, Giuseppe Mazza, Rocco Moccagatta, Guido Cornara, and Guido Di Fraia.
