Never Give Up… Determination and Style in Claudia Romanelli
Never give up is the motto that has always distinguished Claudia Romanelli. Born in 1976 in Padova, she spent her first years of life between Desenzano del Garda, Udine and Padova until she arrived in Parma to attend the Faculty of Law.
It was in the town of “Emilia” that she decided to deal with sports law and specifically with football, also taking into account the fact that his then-husband Federico Pastorello was and still is an appreciated footballer’s agent. With Federico, she moved to Monaco. She became a mother within a few years of two beautiful girls who are now girls: Vittoria and Sofia, respectively 11 and 13 years old, and decided to take a break from work to follow the girls in their growth.
She defines herself as an independent, strong and sincere woman, qualities that at times may have made her pass as strong personality person, but these characteristics have also given her the strength to overcome the most difficult moments. She loves to practice all kinds of sports: from volleyball (where she played for many years) to all those sports that allow her to be outdoors.
After 15 years of union, the marriage ends. With great determination and courage, Claudia takes the family forward, creating a new balance and finding time for herself, although she never misses anything for her daughters. She regains contact with the world of work, always dealing with issues relating to the management of the economic interests of athletes and no later than 7 months ago she decided to open the Women’s Management section dedicated to the career management of female football players.
This new sports adventure has already had enormous success; the women’s football sector is underdeveloped compared to men’s football. In Italy, in fact, women footballers are not professional athletes and this entails a series of difficulties that she is trying to overcome thanks to an increasingly concrete and real intervention by the FIGC and CONI.
It is hoped that the athletes will be able to become professionals within a couple of years. Her concrete commitment is to bring professionalism and competence, trying to follow the athletes from an early age in their sporting career, but not only; vision and mission on important projects “in the pipeline” will certainly lead to concrete benefits of the sports world to women. Claudia, like a good mother, also tries to create a bond with “her” girls, establishing a family relationship and mutual friendship, which in the end is rewarding. As you can well imagine, however, the most rewarding is being a mother to Sofia and Vittoria, two brilliant and cheerful students with whom she shares her passion for travelling.
This is one of the many challenges she has faced in her life. With the same determination and willpower, she is already achieving great results that graphite her enormously. Claudia Romanelli therefore… more and more determined to never give up!
