Brigitte Aliot brings colour and movement to Le Méridien Beach Plaza 16 October 2026 – 16 January 2027
Monaco, October 15th, 2026 – Le Méridien Beach Plaza continues its artistic programme at Le Méridien Hub with IN FILE, a new exhibition dedicated to the work of Brigitte Aliot, a French artist whose abstract practice has evolved over nearly two decades, shaped by colour and a deeply personal visual language.

Through a selection of works defined by fluid forms and sweeping movements of colour, the exhibition reveals a practice poised between spontaneity and mastery, while deliberately leaving room for each viewer’s own sensibility and imagination.
Brigitte Aliot : painting by instinct
A self-taught artist, Brigitte Aliot often describes her painting process as something that escapes her, almost as though guided by a form of automatism. Yet behind this apparent spontaneity lies a carefully developed visual language, shaped by nearly twenty years of practice and research.
Over time, her work has gradually moved away from the highly structured compositions of her early years. Lines have softened and contours have become rounder, giving way to freer compositions in which colour and sweeping forms unfold.

Working in the tradition of Lyrical Abstraction, Brigitte Aliot gives free rein to the direct expression of her emotions.
Her works embrace contrasts: spontaneous yet considered, pop yet romantic, bold yet fragile, loud yet quiet. Together, these nuances form a distinctive and deeply personal visual language.
Painting to be seen as much as felt
Brigitte Aliot does not seek to impose a narrative. Instead, she steps back, giving viewers the freedom to bring their own imagination to each work.
This openness is central to her practice. Her paintings offer no single interpretation; each one reveals itself differently according to the viewer’s own perspective and sensitivity. By allowing the work to speak for itself, the artist creates space for a more personal encounter between the artwork and the viewer.

The Art of Travel, Le Méridien style
Around the world, Le Méridien creates spaces for cultural discovery, where art and creativity become an integral part of the travel experience. This vision comes to life through an artistic programme that highlights a diverse range of creative voices, talents and perspectives.
In Monaco, it takes shape within Le Méridien Hub, the hotel’s signature social space dedicated to connection, discovery and contemporary artistic expression.
By showcasing the work of Brigitte Aliot, Le Méridien Beach Plaza continues its commitment to bringing art into the everyday guest experience. Here, artworks are discovered naturally throughout a stay, whether on arrival, in passing or during a quiet moment, transforming the lobby into a space where hospitality and creativity come together.
Unlock ArtTM
This commitment extends beyond the hotel through Unlock ArtTM, Le Méridien’s signature cultural programme.
Faithful to the brand’s spirit of discovery, Le Méridien offers guests privileged access to selected cultural institutions around the world. In Monaco, hotel guests enjoy complimentary admission to exhibitions at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco (NMNM) simply by presenting their room key.
An elegant reminder that at Le Méridien, keys open more than doors: they open new worlds.
