INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS FOR THE 13TH EDITION MONTE-CARLO FASHION WEEK

 

Monaco, April 30, 2025 – The thirteenth edition of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (MCFW) ended with great success, celebrating fashion in an exclusive and increasingly international setting from 22 to 26 April 2025, confirming its constant growth in terms of prestige and content, thanks to a calendar full of fashion shows, presentations and moments of discussion on the key themes of the sector: circularity, sustainability, inclusiveness and diversity.

“Fashion has the power to inspire and change the world: we are proud to promote creativity and innovation by bringing out the new generation of designers and entrepreneurs who look to the future of fashion in a sustainable and inclusive way,” said Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode and Monte-Carlo Fashion Week.

The institutional Opening took place at the City Hall, where Elisabetta Franchi enchanted with her Eternal collection, a tribute to Italian craftsmanship and timeless beauty.

The event then moved to the Yacht Club de Monaco, where the maison Roberto Cavalli presented its Couture collection in avant-premiere worldwide, captivating an exclusive audience of VIPs and celebrities with precious creations and highly tailored details.

The highlight of the week was the MCFW Fashion Awards Ceremony, which celebrated its tenth anniversary this year, supported by the luxury perfume house Xerjoff, and recognised the public figures that have distinguished themselves for their ethical vision, innovation, social commitment and responsibility. The ceremony was hosted by Maurizio Di Maggio, voice of Radio Monte Carlo and Martika Caringella.

Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel and Chairman and Founder of OTB, the international fashion group that includes the iconic brands Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf and Amiri, received the Positive Change Award for his pioneering role in promoting sustainability and circularity in fashion.

Arianna Alessi, Vice President of OTB Foundation, received the Positive Social Impact Award for her concrete commitment to social issues and support for humanitarian and inclusive projects.

Kelly Rutherford, actress and style icon, was awarded the Fashion Icon Award, for her timeless elegance and strong connection with the world of fashion.

The Pavillon Bosio, Monaco’s Superior School of Plastic Arts, received the Made in Monaco – Educational Award for its contribution to education.

At the Yacht Club of Monaco, Monegasque designers and international brands took turns on the catwalk, offering a spectacle of style, creativity and innovation. Great success for the fashion shows of the elegant Collini Milano 1937, the refined Special Collection Yacht Club de Monaco, and the dynamic celebratory show Rock the 20 Years by Beach & Cashmere Monaco. They were joined by the talents of the Mediterranean Isabel Fargnoli, the futuristic Valtoria, the visionary Kalfar, the exotic Abiddikkia, the poetic Mami Okano, the glamorous Marlea Monte-Carlo, the sophisticated Leslie Monte-Carlo, the regal Laura Spreti and the romantic Diana Mara, who proposed chic and innovative collections, expression of an increasingly global and sustainable fashion.

The week carried on with the conference of Renzo Rosso and Arianna Alessi, in conversation with Geneviève Berti, Director of Communications of the Principality, where they talked about the missions of OTB and OTB Foundation, the future of fashion and sustainability.

Among the events of the week was the show “Glad you’re awake”. A scenography imagined by the students of the École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques – Pavillon Bosio in collaboration with the students of Polimoda Florence, a unique show, halfway between a fashion show and a performance. Another key moment was the Fashion meets Design event at the Spazio Italiano, where design collections merged with fashion with the craftsmanship of Deglupta Bags and the glamorous dresses of Yasya Minochkina. Well-being was also present during the MCFW with the presentation by Narek Sirakanyan of the French luxury nutraceutical brand Project V with its global commitment to beauty, health and longevity.

The MCFW ended in a social atmosphere with the Zepter Brunch Cooking Show & Hyperlight Optics Presentation and talk by Ingie Chalhoub, an exclusive event that combined gastronomy, innovation and lifestyle.

In addition, the beautiful magazine Monaco Woman held an event for the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week at the Rose des Vents, which brought together the entire Monte Carlo jet set, such as the owner, businessman Flavio Briatore, the president of the fashion chamber Federica Nardoni Spinetta, Victoria Silvstedt, the new face of the next MONACO WOMAN cover with Natasha De Graff, the always stunning Elisabetta Gregoraci, influencers Martika Caringella and Antoniya Toneva, soprano Victoria Bulieieva, fashion designer Josephine Riviere and jewelry designer Alice Sunderland, was a great success.

The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week thus confirms itself as an unmissable event, capable of blending fashion, culture and sustainability in a unique location such as the Principality of Monaco.
